Overview

The requisitioning and transfers tool is used in conjunction with the Sculpture Application. All transfers occur between Stations within a single client and allow for a user to run reports on the path an item takes within a client.

The feature allows users to correctly account for items or stock that moves within a client and is stored in independent stock or storage rooms from the main.

Below is an explanation of the features of the Requisitioning Tool.

When to Use

The use of Transfers and Requisitioning is an advanced feature that should be utilized in a number of different scenarios for it to be most beneficial. Below is an outline of those scenarios.

Multi-Station Client Setup

If the client has a P.O.S. system that defines the different areas within the client and separates out the sales by Station, then it would be beneficial to utilize this feature.

Benefits:

• Inventory Breakdown by Station (variance level reporting)
• Tracking of Stock at Station level

Hotel / Motel Setup

If the client is a hotel or motel and utilizes multiple stockrooms and more…

Benefits:

• All of the benefits of the multi-station
• Tracking of Stock throughout the multiple stock rooms and storage areas

Banquets / Other

If the client is a hotel or motel and utilizes multiple stockrooms and more..

Benefits:

• All of the benefits of the multi-station
• All of the benefits of the Hotel / Motel Setup
• The ability to breakdown inventory and sales not only by what exists in the client but to breakdown where items potentially went in a banquets situation

Note:

It is important to note that you cannot change the “On-Hand” values as this information is captured via the Counts & Weights portion of the system. Additionally, the transferred amount can exceed the amount available within the system but this may have unintended consequences.

** If you have 5 On-Hand, and transfer out 6. The Station Level Report will reflect -1 On-Hand**
