Installing

Installing applications on legacy devices can be tricky, as Apple’s business and technology model is intended to force users to upgrade equipment. At any point in time, Apple can eliminate the ability to install legacy applications on old equipment.

To install, please do the following on the legacy device

• Delete Current Application (if broken/non-working version exists)
• Download the newest version app twice without opening it via HERE
• Download the legacy version of the app once HERE
• Open the Legacy Version on the device

The steps identified above work because the downloading of the new application and certificate clear the application as valid for the device, not opening it is essential to not have the device verify compatibility. Then, downloading the older version rewrites the existing new version which is compatible to work.

The current version of BevCount (non-legacy) works with iOS version 9.3 and up (Compatibility List)
