Fintech Downloader (Overview)

This tool will automatically download Fintech invoices that are available for import. Additionally, a user has the ability to mark items as New, Do Not Import, match items, and more.

Questions regarding onboarding a client?


Download Invoice

In the left-hand navigation, select “Purchases” and “Download Fintech Invoices”.

The period must be open to download an invoice. See (finalize period)


Identify

Review available invoices that are yet to be downloaded and select “Download Invoice”.


Review

Step 3 allows for the invoice items to be reviewed and edited in a variety of ways. Please review the FAQ and Variable definitions below before importing the invoice.


Import

After importing and selecting “Ok”. Open Purchases & Invoices and review the invoices for accuracy.

Matched Name [1]
The Name of the Inventory Item that the importer has matched the Invoice Item with. This can be manually overridden to another item as well.
Matched Pack / Package [2]
The Pack or Size of the Inventory Item that the importer has matches the Invoice Item with. This can be manually overridden to another item as well.
New Item [3]
Selecting this Box will add the ability to edit and change the Class and Category of the matched item. This item will appear as New within Item Setup.

Class [4] – Change / Edit the Classification of the Item based on the different classifications present in the system.

Category [5] – Change / Edit the Category of the Item based on the classification choice and the corresponding categories present in the system.

Do Not Import
Selecting this feature will be a one-time decision upon this import to not bring in the matched item.


F.A.Q.

What criteria does the invoice importer use to match items with existing items in the location? – The importer attempts to match data in the following order.

  1. Barcode
  2. Bin No.
  3. Product Code
  4. Item Name + Class Name

Are Items marked “Do Not Import” added to a Black List of any sort? – A Black List type feature is in design for development but not a current system that is active.
