Overview
The 20/20 inventory system provides a user the ability to group or relate brands for ordering purposes. This is especially handy in the instance of Well Liquors where a specific Brand to be ordered is not necessary.
Each Order Group (related or similar brand grouping) is shown on one line, with the related items below. A user must select a “primary brand” for this group, or re-name the group appropriately. The primary brand or group name acts as the brand that will be displayed on in the InteliPAR report.
Dashboard > Ordering > Customize Grouping
Filters
Users may filter by Categories
If desired, a user may further filter by Classes
Edits
Users may rename a group by clicking the edit button next to a group name
It is also possible to expand or contract a group
If desired, the groups may also be rearranged
Item Groups
Some brands will have multiple items in them. Some may be different types of liquor grouped under one area such as seen here with the wells. Others may be different sized bottles of the same brand
Others may simply be one type of item with multiple UPC’s
Grouping Methods
Ordering Grouping Methods:
No Brand Grouping:
The Inventory item, by default, will be listed with Item Name, and corresponding related items beneath.
Group Inventory by Related Brands:
Related brands represent items that differ in attributes such as bottle size, cost, UPC and etc.
Group Inventory by Similar Brands:
Grouping brands by the nature of the items such as by their identified quality is also useful.
Grouping by “Similar brand” is an idea expanding on top of related brands. It enables users to group brands that are not related by name but by nature – for example, with Sky Vodka and Absolut Vodka, either one can be used as an ingredient in making a Long Island Ice Tea. A client sometimes only needs to set PARs and make orders based on one of these brands; therefore, this concept is being introduced to accommodate this.
