Overview

The BevCount application can account for Batch Mixes through the standard weighing practice, or by inventory by volume. We strongly suggest using the inventory by volume feature for large batch mixes.

Inventory by Volume

[Specific to the BevCount Application]

You’ll want to pull up the batch under full counts and be sure that the measuring cup is the format you’re counting in (highlighted yellow in picture #1).

Click on the UOM listed and you’ll have a choice of volume units to enter (illustrated in picture #2).

Troubleshooting

If you have found that your weighed BATCH shows a combined total weight in the various reports, please follow the remedy below.

It is suspected that rather than WEIGHING the item of interest, it was counted. This can be easily identified by looking at the iPod and reviewing the top area of the section this problem BATCH was supposed to be weighed in.

As you can see in the image above, Sangria Batch (22 Quart) has four separate entries listed yet when imported, these entries are combined into one sum total, as pictured below).

However, as you will notice in the first image provided above, the total COUNT is drastically high, meaning the user made the mistake of COUNTING their weighed product (counted products are always summed up in total together).
