How do I connect this scale to my device? –
After turning the scale on, open your application and navigate to the weights screen. At the top of the page, select the SCALE icon. Doing this will automatically connect your device to the scale.
Do I need to install a special application? – No, you do not need to install any additional applications to this device.
Important Note:
SH Support cannot assist in the event a 3rd party application impacts the functionality of the device.
How accurate is this scale? – The scale needs to be sitting on a flat surface for accuracy (not on a concave or padded bar stool) but has been within 1/2g of my AnD Scale.
How long does the battery last? – The scale takes 2 AA batteries, so it doesn’t last quite as long as the 3 AA Escali. (The new scale also powers down automatically a bit quicker). Users report 1-3 full, 8hr audit days.
Notes
- It has been identified that in some instances, this scale will not capture weight while resting on a stainless steel surface.
