BLE Permission denied

If you’re seeing a “BLE Permission Denied” error in the Sculpture App, your device is currently blocking Bluetooth access. This prevents the app from connecting to supported Bluetooth devices such as scanners or scales.

This issue typically occurs when Bluetooth permissions haven’t been granted during or after app installation, similar to when apps request access to your location, camera, or storage.

iOS Devices

You must enable Bluetooth permissions for the Sculpture App in your system settings.

Steps:

  1. Open Settings

  2. Scroll down and tap Sculpture

  3. Toggle Bluetooth to ON

Android Devices

Steps can vary by phone model and Android version, but you’ll typically find Bluetooth permissions in one of the following places:

Option 1: Through App Info

  1. Go to Settings

  2. Tap Apps or App Manager

  3. Locate and tap Sculpture

  4. Tap Permissions

  5. Ensure Nearby Devices (or Bluetooth) is enabled

Option 2: Through Bluetooth Settings (less common)

  • On some devices, you may need to check Bluetooth permissions under the system’s Bluetooth or Connection settings.

If you’re unsure, try searching “Bluetooth permissions” in your device’s settings search bar.
