Initial Setup

Specific to the Sculpture Application, not Legacy Application

The Sculpture Application works with a number of scales and can typically automatically identify which one you are using. In some instances though, you may need to set the scale type.

It is imperative that you do NOT install any Etekcity apps that are mentioned in the instructions that come with the scale

In the Sculpture Application do the following:

1. Login > Navigate to a Client
2. Select the Orb (Lower Left)
3. Navigate to Configuration (Gear)
4. Select Scales
5. Choose your Scale Type

Connecting

Out of the Box, pairing is really easy after your initial configuration.

Friendly Reminder: It is imperative that you do NOT install any Etekcity apps that are mentioned in the instructions that come with the scale

1. Turn the Etekcity Scale On
2. Change the Unit of Measure to Grams by clicking the Unit button
3. Open the Sculpture Application or BevCount
4. Navigate to the Inventory screen
   1. If in BevCount, navigate to “Weights”
5. Search for an item or Scan a barcode
6. Select the Scale Icon to Connect to the Scale
   1. BevCount: At the top of the Weights page, click on the little grey icon of the scale. It should turn red and automatically connect the scale to the BevCount app
   2. Sculpture Apps (iOS & Android): Select the weight icon in the middle of your screen and the icon will turn green to indicate a connection

F.A.Q.

Which Sculpture Application does this scale work with? – This scale works with the Sculpture iOS and Android applications, as well as our Legacy Application, BevCount.

Does this need another application to work? – When you get started, there’s a proprietary app that the scale directions will guide you to download but that’s not necessary. Do not install their app.

How accurate is this scale? – It has been reported that this scale works at near the same quality as the AnD Scales, while being relatively rugged given the price. A flat surface is required.

How long does the battery last? – This scale has a rechargeable battery built into the scale. It has been reported to last 3+ 8-hour audit days on a single charge or roughly 15 – 18 hours.
