Requirements
Connection
- Client Name & Client ID.
- Whether you would be using Sculpture’s Standard or Beta server.
Note: as of April 2024, only Beta servers are available for Square integration.

Setup
SALE & RECIPES > SALES & RECIPE SETUP > DOWNLOAD SALES via INTEGRATION
Access
- Go to Sales & Recipes > Sales & Recipes Setup
- Select “Download Sales via Integration”
If you cannot locate the icon, here are instructions on how to unblock pop-ups for popular browsers.
- Go to Sales & Recipes > Sales & Recipes Setup
- Click on the button “Download Sales via Integration“.

Square Permissions
Step 1: With an Owner’s login, sign in at squareup.com.
Step 2: At the Dashboard from the left-side menu, go to Staff & payroll > Team.
Step 3: You should be taken to the Team > Team Members screen. Select the member assigned for Sculpture purposes.
Step 4: A member profile panel should show to the right. In the panel, find the Permissions section and click on Edit.
Step 5: Next in the Permissions screen, find the section “Permission set” and click on Edit.
Step 6: You should now see all of the customizable permissions for Sculpture. The Sculpture integration requires the “Full Access” permission. Switch on this permission to grant access.
Troubleshooting
Errors on Authorization:
Only the Business Owner can Authorize
The connection to Square worked, but the login used does not have the proper permissions. Square was able to evaluate what you entered and return a denial.
Location: Issue is Client/Point-of-Sale Side.
Resolution: Speak to Client or Square to get the correct level of access.
Invalid Value for Parameter ‘redirect_uri’
The connection to Square failed.
Location: Issue is unknown and requires investigation
